Module 2: Approximation Methods
( Lecture hours: 20 , Tutorial hours: 0 , Lab hours: 0 )Time-independent perturbation theory: non-degenerate and degenerate cases with examples, WKB method, Variational method, Time-dependent perturbation theory, Interaction picture, Dyson series and transition probabilities, Interaction of atom with electromagnetic radiation, Emission and absorption of photons, Fermi's golden rule .
Module 3: Relativistic Quantum Mechanics

Module 4: Scattering
